Grade 4 and 5 students have been inquiring into the base ten number system and place value in the past few weeks. Furthermore they have been reviewing basic facts, math games, use of IXL, Mathletics, and Front Row applications, and have been familiarising themselves with math centers activities that will serve as independent practice all year.
